COVENANT MEMBERSHIP

Covenant Membership

Does it really matter if I’m a member or not? Why do I have to go through a pathway to become a member? Why do I have to commit to anything? People often ask these questions about our covenant membership process, skeptical as to why there seem to be so many “hoops” to jump through.

It’s true. We take covenant membership seriously and with a lot of gravity. Committing yourself to a body of believers is weighty, but it’s also wonderful. When covenant members join, they commit to a spiritual family that provides encouragement and support. They are called to a biblical degree of responsibility, accountability, service, and sacrifice to their brothers and sisters in the family of Christ. Our staff and leaders also pledge to assist our covenant members with care, counsel, prayer and teaching.

Do I need to be a Covenant Member to be a part of the church family?

NO!
Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to be a part of The Exchange family through the gathering, through groups, and through doorholder teams!

Why be a Covenant Member?

I want to be known on a deeper level by the church. I want to commit to the church. I want to contribute to the church. And I want to be held accountable by the church to live out my faith.

Ultimately, membership means more. More for you and more from you.
